Notification for Authors: 15th March, 2024
Revised Chapter Submission from Chapter Authors: 15th April, 2024

Final Acceptance/Rejection Notifications to Chapter Authors: 15th May, 2024

Submission of Final chapters to Editor: 1st June, 2024 (Can’t be extended)

*Note: The plagiarism check may be performed using standard modes (For example, Turnitin, Urkund, etc.). The permissible limit of plagiarism is below 10%.


SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-masked peer-review editorial process. For manuscripts, we require an e-copy of the full chapter submitted in Word on an A4-sized paper with no line numbering, a line spacing of 1.5, Times New Roman 11-point font size, margins top/bottom of 1”, margins left/right of 1.25”, and editable equations using an equation editor in MS-WORD 2020. A typical chapter will include the title, author(s) with affiliation/email/mailing address, introduction, literature review if applicable, theoretical approach if appropriate, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, summary, detailed list of keywords, references using numbering system and alphabetical order, any appendix, etc. Tables and figures should be included in the text at the right place after their citation. The selected and reviewed chapters will be published by a reputed and renowned international publisher Apple Academic Press/Taylor and Francis Group.

Narendra Kumar, PhD, is currently a faculty at Amity Institute of Travel & Tourism in Amity University, Noida, India. He has set high standards in academics and research and is a well-known scholar and editor in the field. He holds total 23 years of industry and academic experience out of which four years is the industry experience and 17 years is the academic experience. He has been associated with many universities in various capacities and is well-known in the academic fraternity. Dr. Kumar has also good connects in the travel and hospitality industry and has helped many young students in setting up their start-ups in India. He is also associated with many journals as an advisory member and regularly holds interactive sessions on various issues related to tourism and hospitality industry. Recipient of many intra-departmental recognitions for outstanding contributions to the institutional and academic development, Dr. Kumar believes in hard work and dedication towards achieving targets. He is the reviewer of many scientific conferences and international journals including Current Issues in Tourism.

Swati Sharma, PhD
Faculty, Amity Institute of Travel & Tourism, Amity University, Noida, India

Swati Sharma, PhD, is currently a faculty at Amity Institute of Travel & Tourism in Amity University, Noida , India. She holds total 17 years of industry and academic experience and is well-known in the academic fraternity and has published many papers in journals of repute. She has been awarded her PhD under Prof. Manjula Chaudhary who is one of the key members of Indian Tourism Academic fraternity. She has also been instrumental in organizing various career related exhibitions for the students and has major interest in events and exhibitions. She is expert in Research Methodology and Advanced Statistical Analysis. Her research areas are Destination Image, MCE Management, Social media analytics and Sustainable Development.

Bruno Barbosa Sousa, PhD, is a Professor in Polytechnic Institute of Cavado and Ave (IPCA, Portugal) Head of Master Program–Tourism Management and Head of Master Program Tourism Marketing (IPCA, Portugal). PhD Marketing and Strategy (University of Minho, Portugal). He was Market Analist at Sonae Distribuição–Modelo e Continente, S.A. (2006 to 2009) and he was Marketing Assistant - Jornal O Jogo at Controlinveste (2005) - Best Paper Award in Strategic Marketing & Value Creation (International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour 2020). Teaching Award of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho 2015/2016 - Best Thesis in Tourism Award–ICIEMC 2015 - Management Graduation, University of Minho Award - Best performance (2006). Research Centre: CiTUR and Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG). He is author or co-author of several papers and her research interests include tourism management, marketing and strategy. Editorial board member of several peer reviewed scientific journals and ad-hoc reviewer of several peer-reviewed scientific journals.
