Amritanshu Shukla, PhD, is a Professor of Physics at the University of Lucknow (NAAC accredited A++ university), India. Prior to this, he worked as an Associate Professor at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) (set up through an Act of Parliament by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, as an Institute of National Importance on the lines of IITs). His research interests include nuclear physics and physics of renewable energy resources. He has published more than 150 research papers in various international and national journals and conferences. He has delivered invited talks at national and international institutes. Currently, he is working on several national and international projects and has active research collaborations with institutions in India and abroad. His recent book publications include Low Carbon Energy Supply: Trends, Technology, Management; Sustainability through Energy-Efficient Buildings; Energy Security and Sustainability; and Latent Heat-Based Thermal Energy Storage Systems. Dr. Shukla earned his master’s in Physics and completed his PhD from IIT Kharagpur, India. He did his postdoctoral research work at some of the premier institutes across the globe, namely at the Institute of Physics Bhubaneswar (Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India); University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, USA; University of Rome/Gran Sasso National Laboratory, Italy; and Physical Research Laboratory Ahmedabad (Department of Space, Govt. of India).

He works towards the development of energy-saving technologies through networked sensors, fuzzy logic, artificial intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT) based on geospatial information systems (GIS).

Neha Kanwar Rawat, PhD, is a recipient of a prestigious DS-Kothari Postdoctoral fellowship and DST Young Scientist Postdoctoral Fellowship and is presently a researcher in the Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India. She received her PhD in Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), India. Her main interests include nanotechnology; nanostructured materials synthesis and characterization, with her main focus on green chemistry, novel sustainable chemical processing of nano-conducting polymers/nanocomposites, conducting films, ceramics, silicones and matrices: epoxies, alkyds, polyurethanes, etc. She also pursues her interest in fusing new technology in areas that include electrochemistry, organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposites, for biomedical applications. The application domain also includes protective surface coatings for corrosion inhibition and MW shielding materials. She has published numerous peer-reviewed research articles in journals of high repute. Her contributions have led to many books and chapters in international books.

Ann Rose Abraham, PhD

Ann Rose Abraham, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, Kochi, Kerala, India. She has expertise in the field of condensed matter physics, nanomagnetism, multiferroics and polymeric nanocomposites, etc. She has research experience at various reputed national institutes, including Bose Institute, Kolkata, India; SAHA Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata, India; UGC-DAE CSR Centre, Kolkata, India; and she has collaborated with various international laboratories. She is a recipient of a young researcher award in physics and best paper awards–2020, 2021. She served as Assistant Professor and Examiner at the Department of Basic Sciences, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala, India. Dr. Abraham is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. She has a good number of publications to her credit in many peer-reviewed high-impact international journals.

Haghi, PhD, is a retired professor and has written, co-written, edited or co-edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals with over 3800 citations and h-index of 32, according to the Google Scholar database. He is currently a research associate at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Professor Haghi has received several grants, consulted for several major corporations, and is a frequent speaker to national and international audiences. He is Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Chemoinformatics and Chemical Engineering and Polymers Research Journal. Professor Haghi has acted as an editorial board member of many international journals. He has served as a member of the Canadian Research and Development Center of Sciences & Cultures. He has supervised several PhD and MSc theses at the University of Guilan (UG) and co-supervised international doctoral projects. Professor Haghi holds a BSc in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina (USA) and holds two MSc degrees, one in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University (USA) and another one in applied mechanics, acoustics, and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France). He was awarded a PhD in engineering sciences at Université de Franche-Comté(France). He is a regular reviewer of leading international journals.
