Dilbagh Panchal, PhD, is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at the Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He works in the area of reliability and maintenance engineering, fuzzy decision making, supply chain management and operation management. At presents, two PhD scholars are working under his guidance, and he has guided MTech students on their dissertations. He has published 20 research papers in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals as well as several book chapters and one book. He also edited a book on advanced multi-criteria decision-making for addressing complex sustainability issues. Dr. Panchal is currently an Associate Editor of the International Journal of System Assurance and Engineering Management and serves as a reviewer for many reputed international journals published by Elsevier, Springer and Inderscience. Dr. Panchal has attended several international conferences. He was awarded his bachelor (hons.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India; his master’s (with a Gold Medal) in Manufacturing Technology from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India; and his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India.

Prasenjit Chatterjee, PhD, is currently Dean (Research and Consultancy) at the MCKV Institute of Engineering, West Bengal, India. He has published over 100 research papers in various international journals and peer-reviewed conferences. He has authored and edited more than 15 books on intelligent decision-making, supply chain management, optimization techniques, risk, and sustainability modeling. He has received numerous awards, including best track paper awards, outstanding reviewer awards, best paper awards, outstanding researcher awards, and university gold medals. He has been a guest editor of several special issues of various indexed journals. He has authored and edited several books on decision analysis, disruptive technologies, intelligent computing, supply chains, and sustainability modeling. He is the Lead Series Editor of the book series Disruptive Technologies and Digital Transformations for Society 5.0. He is the Founder and Lead Series Editor of the book series Concise Introductions to AI and Data Science; AAP Research Notes on Optimization and Decision-Making Theories; and Frontiers of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. Dr. Chatterjee is one of the developers of two multiple-criteria decision-making methods: Measurement of Alternatives and Ranking according to COmpromise Solution (MARCOS) and Ranking of Alternatives through Functional mapping of criterion sub-intervals into a Single Interval (RAFSI).

Mohit Tyagi, PhD, is Assistant Professor in the Industrial and Production Engineering Department at the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, India. His areas of research are industrial engineering, supply chain management, corporate social responsibility, performance measurement systems, data science, and fuzzy inference systems. He has around six years of teaching and research experience. He has guided 15 postgraduate dissertations and 13 undergraduate projects and is currently supervising several MTech and PhD scholars. Dr. Tyagi has over 55 publications in international and national journals and proceedings of international conferences to his credit. He is a reviewer for many international journals, including the International Journal of Industrial Engineering: Theory, Application and Practices, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal; International Journal of Logistics System Management; and Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management. He has organized two international conferences, one as a joint organizing secretary at Delhi Technological University, Delhi, and other as a convener at NIT, Jalandhar. He has also organized three Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme-sponsored short-term courses and faculty development program in his area of expertise. Dr. Tyagi earned his BTech (Mechanical Engineering) (with honors) from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow; his MTech (Product Design and Development) (with a gold medal) from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad; and his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India.

Ravi Pratap Singh, PhD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. His broad areas of research are advanced machining methods, ultrasonic machining, rotary ultrasonic machining, ceramics, composites, optimization methods, and micro-structure analysis. He has published about 35 research articles in several SCI/Scopus indexed journals and national and international conferences, as well as several book chapters. Dr. Singh is an editor and reviewer of several SCI/Scopus indexed journals. He has supervised two MTech scholars and is also supervising master’s and doctoral research. He is a life member of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE), Mumbai, India, and SCIence and Engineering Institute (SCIEI), Los Angeles, USA. Dr. Singh has organized one international conference at NIT Jalandhar as convener. He received a Young Scientist in Mechanical Engineering VIRA-2019 award and a Young Faculty in Engineering (major area: mechanical engineering) in VIFA-2019 awards from the Venus International Foundation. He earned his PhD from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India.
