AAP Research Notes on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
Carbon materials play a significant role in the development of alternative clean and sustainable energy technologies. This new volume focuses on the new applications of different carbon nanomaterials and graphene-carbon-nanotube hybrids for energy generation, energy storage, and energy conversion. He is Vice Editor-in-Chief of the Russian journal Chemical Physics and Mesoscopy and and is a member of the editorial boards of several Russian journals. He is the Honorable Professor of the M. T. Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, Honored Scientist of the Udmurt Republic, Honored Scientific Worker of the Russian Federation, Honorary Worker of Russian Education, and also Honorable Academician of the International Academic Society. Omari Mukbaniani, DSc Professor, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University; Chair of Macromolecular Chemistry; Director of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry and Polymeric Materials, Georgia Omari Mukbaniani, DSc, is full Professor of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, Department of Chemistry; Chair of Macromolecular Chemistry, Tbilisi, Georgia. He is also Director of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry and Polymeric Materials at TSU, and a member of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Georgia. For several years he was a member of the advisory board of the journals Proceedings of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Chemical Series), Contributing Editor of the journal Polymer News and the Polymers Research Journal, and Chemistry and Chemical Technology. His research interests include polymer chemistry, polymeric materials, and chemistry of organosilicon compounds. He is the author more than 480 publications, 25 books, monographs, and 10 inventions. He created the International Symposium on International Symposium on Polymers and Advanced Materials ICSP&AM, which takes place every other two years in Georgia. In 2018 he was a Chair of 26th World Annual Forum on Advanced Materials PolyChar 26. Ann Rose Abraham, PhD Assistant Professor, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, Kochi, Kerala, India Ann Rose Abraham, PhD, is currently an Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, Kochi, Kerala, India. Dr. Abraham received her MSc, MPhil, and PhD degrees in Physics from the School of Pure and Applied Physics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. Her PhD thesis was on the title “Development of Hybrid Mutliferroic Materials for Tailored Applications.” She has expertise in the field of condensed matter physics, nanomagnetism, multiferroics and polymeric nanocomposites, etc. She has research experience at various reputed national institutes, including Bose Institute, Kolkata, India; SAHA Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata, India; UGC-DAE CSR Centre, Kolkata, India; and she has collaborated with various international laboratories. She is the recipient of a Young Researcher Award in the area of physics and Best Paper Awards–2020, 2021, a prestigious forum to showcase intellectual capability. She served as Assistant Professor and Examiner at the Department of Basic Sciences, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala, India. Dr. Abraham is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. She has a good number of publications to her credit in many peer-reviewed high impact journals of international repute. She has authored many book chapters and edited more than 10 books with Taylor and Francis, Elsevier, etc. A. K. Haghi, PhD Professor Emeritus of Engineering Sciences, Former Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Chemoinformatics and Chemical Engineering Member, Canadian Research and Development Center of Sciences and Culture A. K. Haghi, PhD, is the author and editor of over 200 books, as well as over 1000 published papers in various journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Haghi has received several grants, consulted for a number of major corporations, and is a frequent speaker to national and international audiences. Since 1983, he served as professor at several universities. He is the former Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Chemoinformatics and Chemical Engineering and Polymers Research Journal and is on the editorial boards of many international journals. He is also a member of the Canadian Research and Development Center of Sciences and Cultures. He holds a BSc in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina (USA), an MSc in mechanical engineering from North Carolina A&T State University (USA), a DEA in applied mechanics, acoustics and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France), and a PhD in engineering sciences from Université de Franche-Comté (France). |
