Reviews
“A wealth of knowledge and insights, providing a holistic view of the intricate relationship between IoT and green energy. . . [The book] demonstrates the revolutionary potential of this partnership by illuminating the critical role that IoT plays in changing the face of green energy solutions.”
—From the Foreword by Somenath Chakraborty, West Virginia University Institute of Technology, Beckley, West Virginia, USA

The convergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) with sustainable practices has become a bright spot in the fast-evolving technology, pointing to a future in which environmental responsibility and innovation coexist harmoniously. The new book, IoT Potential for Green Energy Solution, demonstrates the revolutionary potential of this partnership by illuminating the critical role that IoT plays in changing the face of green energy solutions. In light of the issues presented by climate change and the need to shift toward sustainable practices, this volume investigates IoT applications within the green energy domain, exploring the enormous potential that IoT offers to completely transform how we think about energy distribution, consumption, and conservation.

The chapters address a wide range of issues, beginning improvements in wind energy technology targeted at increasing efficiency through novel materials and blade designs. The volume also looks into the integration of IoT technology in hybrid renewable energy systems, with a focus on the smooth coordination and administration of several energy sources. The book discusses the use of IoT to address environmental concerns such as noise pollution. Other chapters look at IoT applications in a variety of industries, including transportation, commercial fleet sustainability, agriculture, and energy storage and distribution. The role of IoT-powered irrigation systems in encouraging sustainable agriculture practices is also addressed as is how the Internet of Things can improve energy monitoring, storage, distribution, management, and conservation.

Overall, this enlightening volume explores the revolutionary effects of IoT technology on the renewable energy sector, providing valuable perspectives for researchers, practitioners, industry professionals, policymakers, and others interested in promoting environmental sustainability and green energy initiatives.
