In recent years, the global landscape of corporate governance, digitalization, and energy transition has undergone radical transformations due to rapid advances in technology. These changes are having a considerable impact on various sectors, including energy, economics, and governance. This new book, Corporate Governance, Digitalization and Energy Transition, explores these interrelated areas and their implications for society today.

The book highlights how technological innovations are reshaping corporate governance structures, facilitating the transition to sustainable energy systems, and driving the digitalization of numerous facets of our lives. The authors first look at issues in corporate governance and technological transformations, such as using blockchain technology in corporate governance, how political instability can affect economic groups, management strategies of firms during the Covid-19 crisis along with the effect of government support during that time.

The role of digitization is investigated in various contexts. Chapters look at Chat GPT adoption in scientific research, AI integration in education, fintech in business, and more. The book goes on to look at the role of blockchain technology in energy transition, how climate affects economics, how ESG initiatives impact the energy sector and related economic investment, and more.

This volume will be of interest to academics, practitioners, and policymakers seeking to master and understand the profound changes that lie ahead.
