Suman Ghosal is Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Pailan College of Management and Technology, Kolkata, India. He is also Administrative In-Charge of Pailan Technical Campus, Kolkata. He has more than 12 years of academic experience in addition to industrial experience. His broad areas of interest include renewable energy, electronics devices, and soft computing. He has published many research papers in various national and international reputed journals and conferences. He obtained his BTech degree from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly WBUT), Kolkata, and his MTech from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpu, India.

Amitava Choudhury

Amitava Choudhury, PhD, is Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. He has more than ten years of experience in teaching and many years in research work. He serves as a reviewer for IEEE Biomedical Transaction and the journal Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing. He is member of IEEE, UP section, and the Institute of Engineers, India. His area of research interest is computational geometry in the field of micromechanical modelling, pattern recognition, character recognition, and machine learning. Currently, he is associated with the journal Cluster Computing as a guest editor. He earned his MTech from Jadavpur University and submitted his PhD thesis at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, India.

Vikram Kumar Saxena

Vikram Kumar Saxena is Assistant Professor at the Pailan College of Management and Technology Kolkata, India. He has been a teaching professional for more than eight years. His research area of interest includes electrical machines, power systems, and power electronics. He has published many research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He received his BTech from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, and his MTech from the National Institute of Technology Patna, India.

Arindam Biswas

Arindam Biswas, PhD, is Associate Professor in the School of Mines and Metallurgy at Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, West Bengal, India. Dr. Biswas has 10 years of experience in teaching research and administration. He has published many technical papers in journals and conference proceedings as well as six books, an edited volume, and a book chapter. Dr. Biswas was awarded several research grants. Presently Dr. Biswas is serving as an Associate Editor of the journal Cluster Computing and as a guest editor of Nanoscience and Nanotechnologyi and Recent Patents on Materials Science. He has organized and chaired several international conferences in India and abroad. Dr. Biswas acted as reviewer for journals and is a member of the Institute of Engineers (India) and regular fellow of Optical Society of India (India).

Prasenjit Chatterjee

Prasenjit Chatterjee, PhD, is the Dean (Research and Consultancy) at MCKV Institute of Engineering, India. He has published over 90 research papers in international journals and peer-reviewed conferences. He has received numerous awards, including Best Track Paper Award, Outstanding Reviewer Award, Best Paper Award, Outstanding Researcher Award, and University Gold Medal. He has been the guest editor of several special issues and has authored and edited several books on decision-making approaches, supply chains, and sustainability modeling. He is the lead editor of the book series AAP Research Notes on Optimization and Decision-Making Theories and Frontiers of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering with Apple Academic Press. Dr. Chatterjee is one of the developers of two “multiple-criteria decision-making methods called measurement of alternatives and ranking according to compromise solution” (MARCOS) and “ranking of alternatives through functional mapping of criterion sub-intervals into a single interval” (RAFSI).
