Dr. Rashmi Singh (PhD) is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University, Noida, India. Her area of research and interest are nearness-like structures and near set theory, soft set theory, rough set theory, fuzzy subset theory and general topology. Her doctorate degree is in “Protopic Structures in Fuzzy Subset Theory” from the University of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has been teaching both postgraduate and undergraduate students for last 18 years and has been involved in research since 2001. She also worked as a research assistant at the Allahabad Mathematical Society for three years, from 2002 to 05. She is a member of various professional bodies such as the American Mathematical Society, ISCA, Allahabad Mathematical Society, and many other societies of mathematical sciences. Currently, she is studying near structures in soft set theory and has published over 20 research articles in various national and international journals. She has supervised more than 30 master‘s and undergraduate students. She is recognized as an editor and reviewer for various refereed and peer-reviewed national and international journals. She is a recognized research supervisor and has supervised one PhD scholar, and one is pursuing their degree under her guidance.
