He has 24 years of industry and academic experience, during which he has made significant contributions to the area of tourism education. Dr. Kumar has a strong interest in business travel, tourist behavior, and visitor experiences in the field of tourism and has published extensively on related topics. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Kumar is actively involved in helping young graduates of tourism and hospitality to establish their careers. He has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and seminars on tourism and related fields, and his current research focuses on student mentoring. Dr. Kumar previous works include the edited book Tourist Behavior: Past, Present, and Future (Apple Academic Press, USA) as well as several other books. He is the reviewer for many scientific conferences and international journals, including Current Issues in Tourism.

Swati Sharma, PhD, is currently Associate Professor at Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism, Amity University, Noida, India. With 18 years of experience in travel and tourism academia and industry, she has made significant contributions to the area of tourism. Dr. Sharma has a strong interest in MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) tourism and destination image and has published extensively on related topics. She has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and seminars on tourism and related fields. She keeps track of the changing dimensions of business travel. Dr. Sharma previous works include editing the book Tourist Behavior: Past, Present, and Future (Apple Academic Press, USA), and others. Dr. Sharma earned her PhD at Kurukshetra University, India and has qualified UGC NET twice.

Bruno Barbosa Sousa, PhD
Professor, Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave, Portugal; Head of the Master Program in Tourism Management and PhD Marketing and Strategy

Bruno Barbosa Sousa, PhD, is a Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA, Portugal) and Head of the Master Program in Tourism Management and PhD Marketing and Strategy. He was a market analyst at Sonae Distribuição, Modelo e Continente, S.A. and a marketing assistant for the Jornal O Jogo at Controlinveste. He is author or co-author of several papers. His research interests include tourism management, marketing, and strategy. He is an editorial board member and an ad-hoc reviewer for several peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is also a member of the scientific committees of several national and international congresses and conferences. His awards include a Teaching Award of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho (2015–2016), Best Thesis in Tourism Award from the International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour (2015), among others.
