He is a senior member of IEEE, secretary of the IEEE Electron Device Society (Kolkata Chapter), and member of IE(I), Optical Society of India, IETE, ISTE, etc. He is working as the single point of contact of several online certification courses and activities in his institute (NPTEL, IIRS, Coursera, EDx, e-outreach, Internshala). He is working as a faculty adviser of the student chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India) in the ECE Department at RCCIIT. Angsuman Sarkar, PhD Professor, Department of Electronic and Communication Engineering, Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal, India Angsuman Sarkar, PhD, is presently serving as a Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal, India. He had earlier served at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College and Kalyani Government Engineering College as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor of the ECE Department for more than 20 years. His current research interest include study of short channel effects of sub-100 nm MOSFETs and nanodevice modeling. He is a senior member of IEEE, a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), an associate life member of the Institution of Engineers (IE) India, and currently serving as the Chairman of IEEE Electron Device Society, Kolkata Chapter. He has authored five books, many book chapters, 70 journal papers in international refereed journals, and 57 research papers in national and international conferences. He is a member of the boards of editors of various journals. He is a reviewer of various international journals. He is currently supervising six PhD scholars and has already guided five students successfully as principal supervisor. He has delivered invited talks, tutorial speeches, and expert talks at various international conferences/technical programs. He has organized IEEE international conferences and several workshops/seminars. He received an MTech degree in VLSI and Microelectronics from Jadavpur University. He completed his PhD at Jadavpur University in 2013. Soumen Santra, MTech Department of Master of Computer Application, Techno International New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal, India Soumen Santra, PhD, is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Master of Computer Application, Techno International New Town, Kolkata, India. He has 11 years of professional experience in academics and industry. His work is in the field of machine learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), and medical image analysis. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed research papers, including in journals, book chapters, and conferences.
