Short description about the volume:

The book, Sustainable Materials, Infrastructure, and Data-Driven Solutions, will present a comprehensive exploration of the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and soft computing techniques in modern engineering systems. It will focus on developing intelligent, data-driven approaches to address complex challenges in civil, environmental, and infrastructure engineering, particularly in the context of sustainability and climate resilience. The volume plans to cover advanced computational methodologies including fuzzy logic, neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, and hybrid intelligent systems, demonstrating their applicability in solving real-world engineering problems characterized by uncertainty, non-linearity, and large-scale data. Emphasis is placed on predictive modeling, optimization techniques, and intelligent decision-making frameworks for improving system performance, resource utilization, and structural efficiency. Key application areas include sustainable construction materials, bio-waste-based soil stabilization, smart water resource management, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure optimization.

The book will integrate theoretical foundations with practical case studies, enabling readers to understand how AI-driven techniques enhance design, analysis, and operational efficiency in engineering systems. Emerging concepts such as digital twins, smart infrastructure, intelligent monitoring systems, and climate-resilient engineering solutions will also be also explored. Additionally, the volume will discuss challenges related to computational complexity, data quality, model interpretability, and ethical considerations in AI adoption.
