This new book, Smart Electronic Devices and Systems for Biomedical and Healthcare Applications, explores the development of smart bioelectronics and biomedical devices using advanced information technology, which has significantly revolutionized biomedical engineering and healthcare, enabling a variety of applications in advanced clinical medicine, surgery, and implants.

The book considers the integration of smart technologies in healthcare, employing big data analytics, the Internet of Things, machine learning, cloud storage, and other technologies for predictive modeling, information analysis, etc., for medical diagnosis and treatment. It covers areas such as medical image retrieval, machine learning for diagnosis, and biomedical applications based on mobile phone cell network systems. It also covers topics such as predictive modeling of vector-borne diseases and their pathogens using AI, implementation of compact dual-band printed antennas for biomedical applications, and intelligent visual-to-textual mapping in automatic medical diagnosis and treatment. This book highlights various possible research applications of newly invented IT enabled technologies that can make systems more advanced and efficient, easier to use, and more widely applicable and robust.

With continued interest and development in the use of smart electronic and systems in medicine, this volume will be of great interest to scientists, biomedical engineers, medical experts, analytical engineers as well as the general public owing to its broad coverage of this very relevant topic.
