This forthcoming edited book, Recent Paradigms of Deep Learning & IoT in Healthcare, discusses the applications and challenges of deep learning and the Internet of Things for healthcare applications. The major objective of this book is provide a platform for presenting IoT-enabled healthcare techniques. It will cater to the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as research students. It will also aid academicians, researchers, and industry experts working on healthcare systems backed by IoT and deep learning techniques.

This book is an attempt by the authors to present the most relevant topics on the Internet of Things, deep learning, and their applications in healthcare applications. IoT is one of the fastest growing fields today. IT is being widely used in a variety of industries. One of the major applications of IoT is in remote healthcare monitoring systems. IoT-based systems are developed by a combination of various techniques like wireless communication, sensor technology, and, most importantly, data processing. Deep learning is being recognized as one of the most efficient techniques in data processing. The convergence of IoT and deep learning enables things to communicate, share information, and coordinate decisions. Recently, IoT-based applications in the medical field have drawn substantial attention from researchers.

The book is divided into three sections. The first section will cover the broad topics of deep learning and will have four chapters. The second part will cover the broad topics in IoT and will consist of four chapters. The third section will provide the convergence of IoT and deep learning. It will also consist of the application in healthcare industry.
