Gennady E. Zaikov, DSc, is Head of the Polymer Division at the N. M. Emanuel Institute of Biochemical Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia, and professor at Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology, Russia, as well as professor at Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan, Russia. He is also a prolific author, researcher, and lecturer.

He has received several awards for his work, including the the Russian Federation Scholarship for Outstanding Scientists. He has been a member of many professional organizations and on the editorial boards of many international science journals.

Alexander N. Goloshchapov, PhD, is the Deputy of N. M. Emanuel Institute of Biochemical Physics and Director of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. He is head of the laboratory and a specialist in the field of chemical kinetics, biochemical kinetics, chemical physics and biochemical physics.

He published four books and about 100 original papers in the field of biochemistry and biology (cancer, gerontology, biochemical reactions in the living body).

Anton V. Lobanov, PhD, graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology (MIFCT) with honors in 2001. and he received his PhD degree in chemistry in 2005. He is Deputy of the Head of the Laboratory of Semenov Institute of Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICP RAS), Deputy of the Head of Department of MIFCT, and a member of the Scientific Council of Scientific Education Centre of Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is member of the Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society and the Russian Photobiology Society, the organizing committees of several International conferences.

He is the author of the lecture courses "Photochemistry of Bioactive Compounds" and "Supramolecular photochemistry". He is reviewer for several professional journals. He is the author of more 40 articles, eight chapters in the books, two patents, two patent requests, and 90 conference reports. He was a recipient of Scholarship from the President of Russia (2000), the Prize of "MAIK-Nauka/Interperiodika" in Chemistry (2004), a grant from the Government of Moscow (2004, and several prestigious scholarships. His scientific interests are focused on photochemistry and coordination chemistry of metal complexes, mechanistic studies of supramolecular assemblies of metal complexes, and development of new methods in diagnosis and pharmacology.
