Paul S. Samuel earned his PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada, in 2007. He was a post-doctoral fellow/research associate at the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, University of Manitoba, and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, during 2007–2008. His research interests cover computational and numerical turbulent flows around bluff bodies, turbulent flow over smooth and rough surfaces, and also renewable energy, with special focus on wind energy potential in several developing countries. He has over 35 technical publications and has held lecturing positions at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Dr. Paul is currently a professional engineer in Manitoba with Sunrit Engineering Consulting Services, Inc., Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
