Short description about the volume:

The book IoT, Robotics, and CPS Powered Industry 5.0 will explore the transformative potential of integrating secure intelligent systems with IoT, robotics, and cyber-physical systems (CPS) to drive the advancements of Industry 5.0. By leveraging these cutting-edge technologies, industries can significantly enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity. In manufacturing scenarios, for instance, IoT sensors seamlessly integrated with robotic systems enable real-time monitoring and optimization of production processes. This dynamic interplay allows for automated adjustments to machine settings based on the continuous stream of data gathered from sensors, ensuring consistent product quality and minimizing costly downtime. Furthermore, intelligent systems, empowered by advanced analytics, can effectively analyze production data to predict potential equipment failures. This proactive approach to maintenance not only prevents unexpected disruptions but also minimizes the risk of costly repairs. Beyond operational efficiency, the integration of these technologies significantly enhances worker safety by automating hazardous tasks, thereby reducing the risk of workplace injuries. This paradigm shift exemplifies how the convergence of IoT, robotics, and CPS, as outlined in this book, revolutionizes industrial operations, making them more efficient, reliable, and ultimately, safer for both humans and the environment.
