Manish Gupta, PhD, MBA, is an Associate Professor and Deputy Head (undergraduate programs) at the School of Management at Mahindra University, Hyderabad, India. He has taught at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. His teaching areas include human resource analytics, human resource management, organizational behavior, and competency mapping. Apart from teaching, he also has industry experience. He is an article editor for Sage Open and an editorial team member of the Journal of Global Information Management, Cogent Business and Management, International Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations, and International Journal of Cyber Behavior, and Psychology and Learning. He has been a guest editor for several journals published by Emerald, Wiley, Sage, Elsevier, etc. He received the Top Peer Reviewer 2019 Sward by Publons, USA (Web of Science) and also an AIMS International Outstanding Young Management Researcher Award in 2019. He has also won the best issue of 2018 award by Advances in Developing Human Resources (ADHR), USA. His work has received media coverage in national and international magazines, newspapers, blogs, and news channels. He has research papers, textbooks, reference books, book chapters, and teaching cases to his credit. He has convened an international conference and has conducted multiple management development programs. His PhD thesis was on the area of work engagement.
