Moharana Choudhury is a researcher and environmentalist from Guwahati, Assam, India. Choudhury has worked on various scientific projects in various government departments and has more than 13 years of research and working experience in environmental research and services. He began his career as a research intern at the National Institute of Disaster Management in New Delhi, followed by the North Eastern Space Application Center (Department of Space, Government of India/ISRO Unit) as a Junior Research Fellow. Mr. Choudhury has authored or edited five books with internationally reputed publishing houses and more than 35 articles in national and internationally reputed journals, proceedings, and more than 26 book chapters. He has written many articles and scientific reports in popular magazines. He has been working as an editor of various prestigious international publishing houses worldwide, such as Elsevier, Royal Society of Chemistry, Springer, Wiley, CRC Press/Routledge, etc. Mr. Choudhury is working on various environmental conservation activities in Assam and throughout country. He has worked on several initiatives to integrate environmentally sustainable projects for iconic heritage places, wetlands, and ecotourism spots in Assam, India, especially for cleanliness and beating single-use plastic pollution missions. He contributes to various environmental research, management, social media mass awareness, and research studies. He is also well known in India for his efforts to implement environmental education and safeguard the privileges of environmental degree holders in India. He has completed his education as an MSc, PGDGIS, PGDEM, and PGCGARD from Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar, Uttrakhand, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong Meghalaya, Tezpur University, Assam, and NIRD Hyderabad, respectively.

Sushobhan Majumdar, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Pandit Raghunath Murmu Smriti Mahavidyalaya (affiliated to Bankura University), India. Previously he was employed by the Government of West Bengal as a Group A Officer in the Minority Affairs and Minority Education Department. He is presently engaged in research on the design and development of environmental geographies. Urban geography, social geography, regional development and planning, remote sensing and GIS, and geography of transport are among his main areas of study. Additionally, he is working on different development projects for the Government of West Bengal Socio Economic Planning Unit of the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). He has more than 50 research papers published in a variety of reputable journals, proceedings, and edited volumes both nationally and internationally. He has already published two edited volumes for Springer Nature and Routledge Group on urban-related issues. He is now editor of various renowned publishing houses in the world like Elsevier, Royal Society of Chemistry, Springer, Routledge, Wiley etc.

Avnish Chauhan, PhD, is working as Associate Professor in Department of Environmental Science, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Dr. Chauhan has more than 15 years of teaching experience. He has published more than 56 national and international research papers and edited and written about 33 text and reference books. He is NET and PhD and was awarded with a gold medal by the Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences for his contribution. He has been awarded with a Best Environmentalist Award 2020 by the Deccan Environment Research Organization, Karnataka. He is an appointed reviewer for Springer, Taylor and Francis, and other reputed publishers. He is presently engaged in research on solid waste and environmental pollution. Air pollution, water pollution, vermiculture, soil pollution, impact of air pollutants on vegetation, and bioremediation are among his main areas of study.
