This important book presents a collection of scientific papers on recent theoretical and practical advances in nanostructures, nanomaterials, and nanotechnologies. Highlighting some of the latest developments and trends in the field, the volume looks at advanced nanostructured materials and the respective tools to characterize and predict their properties and behavior.

With contributions from experts from both the industry and academia, the book provides original, theoretical, and important experimental results and incorporates appropriate case studies, explanatory notes, and schematics for more clarity and better understanding. Each chapter in section one describes the principle of the respective method, as well as the detailed procedures of experiments, with examples of actual applications presented in section two. Thus, readers will be able to apply the concepts as described in the book to their own experiments. Experts in each of the areas covered have reviewed the state of the art, thus creating a volume that will be useful to readers at all levels in academic, industry, and research institutions.

Topics include:
  • theory and synthesis of nanostructures and nanosystems for improvement of materials and objects
  • modeling in sphere on nanoscience and nanotechnology
  • investigations of structure and properties of nanostructures, nanosystems, and nanostructured materials
  • production of nanostructured materials and investigations of their properties
  • development of nanostructured materials and nanotechnologies applications
This book will be useful for chemists, chemical engineers, technologists, and researchers interested in advanced nanomaterials with complex behavior and their applications. On the other hand, this book is also designed to fulfill the requirements of scientists and engineers who wish to be able to carry out theoretical and experimental research in nanomaterials using modern methods.
